Betting on Horseracing at 2022 Kentucky Derby Race
Twenty of the finest horses will take part in the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby. Leading this year’s entries is Epicenter, a three-year-old colt out of Not This Time and Silent Candy. He has won four of the last five races since debuting sixth in September 2021. Second on the favorites list is Messier, who won three of his six races and placed second in the other three, including the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby. Charge It and Zandon have a chance to make a big surprise due to their excellent appearances in previous races.
Charge It was impressive in the Florida Derby as he bucked a slow start to finish second in the Grade 1 stakes race. Zandon, meanwhile, impressed oddsmakers when he topped the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stakes, beating Smile Happy and Emmanuel. He also earned second and third places in the other stakes races he has taken part in. Other entries that can provide a surprise in the big field are Mo Donegal, Taiba, and White Abarrio.

2022 Kentucky Derby Race Pick
The best horseracing betting site in the US picks Epicenter as the entry that is likely to win the first jewel of the 2022 Triple Crown. Epicenter has been on a tear in his previous five races but the horse will have tough customers in Messier, Charge It, and Zandon. Expect the four horses in the thick of the fight going to the finish line. However, the Derby is also known for surprises so a longshot entry winning the race is not a remote possibility in this race.
