Nedbank Golf Challenge Online Golf Betting Preview & Odds

Posted by: Anthony Yaylor

The Nedbank Golf Challenge is an annual men’s professional online golf tournament played at the Gary Player Country club in South Africa. It was inaugurated in 1981 and is traditionally held towards the end of the year, in either December or November. At first, as diehard online golf betting fans will recall, the tournament was a small-field invitational stroke play event usually consisting of around 12 players. But since it joined the ranks of the European tour in 2013, the event expanded to a field of 30 and even to 72 in 2016.

Last year, the Nedbank Golf Challenge was the middle leg of the European Tour’s Final Series. This year, the tourney is the seventh Rolex Series event and the next to last tournament of the season. As such, it is one of the few opportunities players have to hit up sports betting websites for some top sportsbook action.

A field of 72 will assemble this Thursday for a run at a title that has been growing in notoriety as of late. The course, which is centered in an extinct volcanic crater, features Kikuyu fairways and Kikuyu rough. Check out the online golf betting odds available on the field down below.
