As of this writing, there is Tuesday Night Football going on, yes. But, this week, there isn’t going to be any Wednesday Night Football (at least, not yet). Which means that the next game is going to be Thursday Night Football, which, miraculously, was a game that was actually scheduled back when the schedules came out in April. So, for once, we’re going to get an actual NFL game taking place when it’s supposed to take place. Wonders: they never cease. Anyway, this should be an interesting one, with the Rams hosting the Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl 36 (which was a long, long time ago). As ever, you can place bet on NFL football at BetNow.
Place Bet on NFL Football Pats at Rams
The Rams host the Pats, and yes, it’s been a minute since Brady’s game-winning drive against Kurt Warner and the Rams in Super Bowl 36. People forget just how good the Pats defense was that year, thinking just about the Tuck Rule, all that kind of thing. Anyway, this is going to be an interesting game. If there’s any last chance in the Pats season to make the playoffs, this is it. They more or less have to win this one.
But, the Rams are tough. Aaron Donald, as good as any defensive player in league history, is having yet another great year. The rest of the defense around him isn’t too bad, either. On top of that, the offense is starting to pick up. The Rams very well could be the winners of the NFC West, which, if it isn’t the league’s best division, it’s sure up there. This should be a good test for both teams.
As of now, we’ve got the Rams with a six point favorite at home. Do you think they’re going to win this one by a touchdown (but not an extra point?) Interestingly, we do have an over/under for this game that is comparatively low for this season – 44.5. That’s one of the lower ones for this coming week. How do you feel about that? Do you see a defensive showdown happening in Southern California? Or, will points carry the day?
Bet the Big Games This Coming Weekend
Many big and interesting games this weekend. The biggest is probably Sunday night, when the suddenly no-longer undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers head to Buffalo. This is the game that the pundits have been pointing to for weeks (if not months) of “when the Steelers are going to be exposed,” when the Steelers are finally going to turn into a pumpkin.
The Bills are a very good team, and a win here could put them in the stratosphere of being “The Team in the AFC to Challenge the Chiefs.” Allen is everything that he was hyped to be: the best Bills QB since Jim Kelly. The defense is good, the entire team is solid from top to bottom. That’s why the Bills are a 2.5 favorite at home over an 11-1 team. The Steelers are supposed to get some of their players back for this game, such as Connor, Pouncey, and Nelson. What do you see happening?
Other big games throughout the day include the Chiefs at the Dolphins. The Chiefs haven’t exactly blown out their opponents in every game this season. They were in real trouble Sunday night against a struggling Broncos squad. If there was ever a game for the Dolphins to make a big push, to show themselves as something other than a “Team on the Rise” to a “Team That’s Ready,” this would be it. As of now, we’ve got the Chiefs as a 7 point favorite. This is just one more of the great games you can bet online at BetNow!
