NBA Betting in the Last Month

NBA Betting in the Last Month: It may be hard to believe, but this is the last month of the NBA regular season. No, really. The regular season ends on May 16th. So, if you’re a team that’s going to make a move to get into the playoffs (or to raise your place in the standings,) now is the time to do it. Indeed, it might even be too late to control your own destiny. That said, all you can do is play as hard as you can and hope that someone else loses. As the season heats up, so too does the NBA betting here at BetNow. We’ve got all the games in the regular season as well as the playoffs.

Potential Finals Matchups

Take this Wednesday for example. The biggest game of the day (possibly) is the one that looks like a very real possibility as a Finals preview: the Phoenix Suns head east to Philly to play the Sixers. This is a game between two of the teams that, more or less, have been in a great position all season long. It wouldn’t be at all surprising to see these two teams meet again, with much higher stakes, a while from now.

That said, the stakes are still pretty high today. This isn’t like soccer where there’s a “friendly” or something. The Suns are a game and a half out of the top spot in the West. consequently, the Sixers are only in the top spot by a game. So, if these two teams want home court throughout the playoffs, winning games like this (against a very, very good team) is a great way to do so. Besides, it also shows that you can enter the playoffs on a roll, too.

NBA Betting in the Last Month: Potential Playoff Matchups and Last Stands

Of course, there are also teams that may meet for big games in a few weeks, so they want to solidify their positions now. You can see this in the West, as the Grizzlies head to LA to play the Clippers. The Clips have had a great season, and should enjoy home court in the first round at least. The Grizz, on the other hand, are in a dog fight to make sure that they’re in the first round. With the Warriors and Spurs directly on their heels, winning a game like this, against a good team, would not just give them a better chance of getting into the playoffs but ensuring they’re going to do something should they get there.

Speaking of the Warriors, they’re on the road, in a must-win game for both teams (as so many of these games are now). The Wizards still have some chance of getting back into the East playoff picture, but they’ve got to win some games pronto. The Warriors are in that logjam at the bottom of the West playoff rung. With the Spurs right there and the Grizzlies and Mavs in eight and seven respectively, you’re looking at four teams playing for two spots. That’s the kind of “every game counts” action that you expect every night in the NBA.

2021 NBA Betting in the Last Month: As of this writing, we see the Warriors as a slight favorite on the road. Sure, it’s never easy to go clear across the country to play a team in a big game (especially on their court). But, we’ve got the Warriors as the favorite right now. That said, the line is only two, so the Wizards could very well pull this thing off, thus giving them a chance to get right back into the thick of it in the East.

Speaking of “in the thick of it,” that’s exactly where the Nuggets and Trailblazers are in the west. This is a very possible first round matchup. So, it definitely behooves each team to play their best and try to take this game. Win this one and you give yourself a better chance of having more games at home in the first round. Even if you aren’t in a position to “make a move,” you want to go into the playoffs playing well. It’s much more likely that you’ll do well (even if you hit a tough matchup early on) if you go in on a roll versus not playing well. You can bet all of this and more here at BetNow!
