Bet NFL Games on Thursday (Even If There Isn’t Thursday Night Football)

Thursday night football. It is the start of the league’s week. Whenever you think the week might start, it really starts on Thursday night. Sure, you’ll have to go to work tomorrow (probably) but Thursday night football is kind of the beginning of the weekend. It’s like the harbinger, letting you know that the weekend is right around the corner and almost here. Thursday Night Football is a big part of that. You’ll be able to bet NFL games here at BetNow on Thursday night or any other time. As long as there are games, you can bet on online at BetNow.

As of this writing, there will be a Thursday night football game next week. The Buffalo Bills will play in it. However, that may change. As they’re to have a game with the Titans on Sunday (and the Titans are still having massive COVID-19 problems) then the game may have to be moved. The last thing the league ever, ever, ever, wants to do is to have a forfeit. So, they’re going to do everything that they can to play this game. One option they could avail themselves of: playing it on Saturday or Sunday.
Sure, it’s not Thursday Night Football. But, it’s also not “play on one day of practice or less” football, either. Thursday night games are notorious among the players for being difficult, as your body doesn’t have as many days to rest. Beyond that, you don’t have as many days to prepare. Yes, the other team has the same problems, but that doesn’t mean that it will be any easier for you.
So, if the game gets moved, you’ll be able to bet on sports at BetNow, no matter when it’s played. That said, we’re anticipating like it’s going to be played, in some capacity. The NFL, like so many of us, is trying to figure this out as they go. Also the NFL, like so many of us, is trying to figure this out as they go in the fairest way that costs them the least amount of money. That’s just one reason you’re so unlikely to have a forfeit. As long as there’s an NFL, you’ll be able to bet it here.
Thursday Night Football Today, Tomorrow, Forever
By the time you read this, the game between the Buccaneers and the Bears will probably be over. It’s an interesting game, as it seems like the line has come down quite a bit from where it originally started. Maybe fewer people believe that Tom is just going to take over the league with the Bucs. Perhaps the bettors believe more in Foles than you might think.
Regardless, as of this writing, the line is down to three points. Given the idea that you get three points for being at home, we could assume that if this game were in Tampa Bay, then it would be a six point lead.
Also, the handicappers don’t see a very high scoring game here, either. The over/under is set at 45. So, they’re anticipating more of a grind it out kind of game. What do you think? Do you see this as a night that Brady has the Bucs offense flying high? Or, do you see him and Foles taking a “make no mistakes” kind of approach, as they dink and dunk and control the ball on their way to victory? With these games, you can bet them however you would like.
By that same token, while next week’s Thursday night football game might be in doubt, the idea of Thursday night football sure isn’t. These games will be played as long as there are games. The home teams tend to do better with them, yes, but that is far from guaranteed. That’s especially true, perhaps, since many of these places don’t have fans or just have minimal fans. Regardless, there will be Thursday night football to bet on NFL at BetNow all season long.
