Baseball is here! It’s been a week, but that “new season” smell just permeates everything. We’re as excited to have baseball back as you. After all, with football over and college basketball just ending, we were left with the NBA and the NHL. Sure, they’re both great, but we love having as many sports to bet on as possible. Here at BetNow, we’ve got 2021 MLB betting for you all season long. Let’s look at some games coming up very soon and how you can make a lot of money betting in so many different ways.
2021 MLB Betting on the National League
Plenty of great games this Friday in the National League. Early on, we’ve got a possible NLCS matchup as the Nationals take their NL west to play the champions in Chavez Ravine. The Nats made a big splash over the winter in getting Josh Bell, but will he be enough for them to climb back into the NL elite? By that same token, can the Dodgers keep it going and defend their crown? As of this writing, we’ve got Dodger Blue as a one and a half run favorite in LA.
Speaking of the National League East, later on Friday, the Phils head south to take on the Braves. The Braves are as good of a team as the National League has (maybe other than the Dodgers) but, if they want a shot at the championship, they have to get out of the NL East. The Phils are one of those teams that have the pieces in place, but you have to wonder if they’re going to have enough to be a real contender. We’ve got the Braves as a one and a half run favorite in Cobb County.
Out west, later on, two teams trying to make their name go at it. The Reds have a great record through one week. Is that just off of playing the dismal Pirates, or are the Reds for real? They’ll get a test as they head to the desert to take on the Snakes. The Diamondbacks are in a tough division, but, if they can hang in there, they might be able to do something against the mighty Dodgers and Padres. We have the Red Machine as a 1.5 run favorite on the road.
2021 MLB Betting: American League Games
Interesting matchups this Friday all through the American League, too. For example, in the afternoon, the Yankees head south to take on the Rays. This is an AL East matchup of two true contenders. The Rays have a farm system that, no matter how many players they lose, just keep churning them out. The Yankees are, of course, the Yankees – American’s most decorated team. But, the Rays were the last AL champion. Who do you have in this one? We’ve got the Yanks as a 1.5 run favorite on the road.
Moving to the AL Central, the Tigers head to Cleveland. This is a division where, sure, there’s the White Sox, but they aren’t exactly proven yet. So, really, just about any team in this division could make a move and maybe make it count. The Indians, not all that long ago, were knocking on the door of a championship. They very well could again. As of this writing, the Tribe is a 1.5 favorite on the shores of Lake Ohio.
Rounding out our trip through the American League games this Friday takes us out west to where the As go to Houston to play the Astros. The As may not have gotten off to the start that they would like, and the AL West looks like it’s going to be competitive to say the very least. So, really, this division could be anyone’s. All teams have a shot. We have the Stros as a 1.5 favorite at home.
Always remember, there are interleague games, too. San Diego goes to Texas for a matchup with the Rangers. The Padres, as befitting a team with that roster, are on the road. Additionally, you can always bet the “Grand Salami” – who do you think is going to have more runs throughout the day, the road teams or the away teams? You can bet on baseball at BetNow!
