John Harbaugh vs Zac Taylor

Flowers was one of the Ravens’ standout performers during Week 1. Drafted 23rd overall out of Boston College, Flowers made an immediate impactful first impression by leading his team with nine receptions for 78 yards and providing Lamar Jackson with plenty of targets despite not finding the end zone himself.

Jackson may not have put up eye-popping stats, but he managed the game efficiently. Completing 17 of 22 passes for 169 yards and without throwing a touchdown pass due to Baltimore’s effective ground game (J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury in this game; Gus Edwards made up for him by contributing towards their 100+ yard rushing performance).

On the flip side, Joe Burrow struggled against Cleveland’s defense in Week 1, completing 14 of 31 passes for only 82 yards. Star receiver Ja’Marr Chase saw just five receptions totalling 39 yards while Joe Mixon managed 56 rushing yards on 13 attempts.

Defensively, the Bengals held up against an average Browns offense. What ultimately doomed them was their inability to move the ball effectively on offense.

As these AFC North rivals square off against one another, the Bengals will look to put behind them their poor showing in last season’s matchup against Detroit. Unfortunately for them, their schedule won’t get any easier with games against the Rams, Titans, and Cardinals all being on tap this season.

Lamar Jackson of the Ravens performed admirably against the Texans, completing 17 of 22 passes for 169 yards without making any costly errors or making costly miscues. Jackson connected well with rookie receiver Zay Flowers – who recorded nine receptions for 78 yards in their season opener against Baltimore – showing promising signs for Ravens passing game success.

NFL Betting Odds: Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 — Over/Under: 47.5

Gus Edwards played an impressive role in Baltimore’s ground attack, filling in for J.K. Dobbins when necessary and contributing to their 100+ yard rushing performance. Edwards helped control the game on the ground and make key plays when necessary – an essential ingredient to their Week 1 win.

On defense, the Ravens held the Texans to just nine points – an impressive performance that demonstrated their ability to limit scoring opportunities and disrupt opponents’ offensive schemes.

Bengals offense struggled against Browns: Joe Burrow’s completion rate of just 45.2% for 82 yards is cause for alarm; star receiver Ja’Marr Chase caught only five passes for 39 yards during this game – something the Bengals will need in order to meet Ravens defense effectively.

The defense showed its worth for the Bengals by holding Cleveland to 24 points in their game against them, though further success will require their offense to match this defensive performance and secure victories in future contests.

As we approach Week 2, the statistics point toward Baltimore having the edge both offensively and defensively, however, the Bengals could make this divisional battle a closely-contested affair for NFL fans to watch! NFL fans should prepare themselves for an engaging battle between these AFC North rivals.
