Potential 2018 ACC Betting Breakout Players
The 2018 online college football betting season is still a long way’s off. However, the added time gives sportsbook players to size up the perfect NCAA picks and parlays. Today we aim to look at Atlantic Coast Conference players who could have a breakout season in 2018. Hopefully, a good look at potential breakouts will help bettors make 2018 ACC betting predictions. Let’s take a gander.
2018 ACC Betting Potential Breakouts!
Elijah Robinson || WR || Sr.
Although he started his collegiate career at quarterback, the 6’ 2” athlete has had no problems transitioning to wide out. He’s been making highlights during the spring games and should be a name to keep in mind as the season rolls around.
Trevor Lawrence || QB || Fr.
Hard to make the case that a freshman will have a breakout year. However, instead of rooting for returning starter and senior Kelly Bryant, Tigers fans should be rooting for Lawrence. Since Watson’s departure from the program, Clemson fans have been awaiting the return of the messiah. Lawrence could be that strong-armed quarterback Clemson needs.
Tamorrion Terry || WR || Fr.
Coming off a red shirt season, Terry has a bit of experience under his belt. At 6’ 4”, 197 lbs., he’s got the built to be an impact player. FSU was slated to have a breakout season last year but were derailed by the hurricane season. Online college football betting players should certainly keep an eye out for the Seminoles and Terry alike.
Jon Greenard || LB || Jr.
Coming off a year in which Greenard more than doubled his tackles, it’s safe to expect an even better year out of the linebacker. Greenard led the team in sacks last season. If he’s able to have a breakout season, Louisville might become a 2018 ACC betting sleeper!
North Carolina State
Nakia Robinson Jr. || RB || Fr.
Nyheim Hines departure for the NFL has left Dave Doeren’s team rather dry at the position. In the end, Robinson could end up filling that spot rather nicely.
Tommy DeVito || QB || Fr.
Another redshirt freshman. However, DeVito has gotten plenty of reps and has quite a rifle for an arm. He’ll be starting summer camp as the backup, but sportsbook players shouldn’t be shocked when he transitions to starter.
Kendall Hinton || QB || Soph.
Hinton will enter this year’s summer workouts as the slated starter. Although he lost the starting job to John Wolford last season, Hinton should come into his own this year. However, it should be mentioned that he’s coming off an injury.
AJ Reed || K || Jr.
The Blue Devils have struggled tremendously at the kicking position. Last season, Austin Parker was booted off the team before a bowl game. Now Reed looks to cement himself as the starter.
Jalen Camp || WR || Jr.
The Yellow Jackets are undoubtedly looking to replace top threat Ricky Jeune. In the end, Camp could be their guy. At 6 ‘ 2”, you’ll be hard pressed to find someone with that height and speed. He’s been looking good in spring training but could elevate his blocking game.
